 "Thank you Contemporary Landscaping for a new, healthy, and chemical free lawn! Whoa, keeping a nice lawn in the Pacific Northwest is not easy - I tried for years to fight the moss, the weeds, the mole hills, and the elements - and I was constantly losing. 
In February of this year, my wife and I had to admit our lawn looked more like a battlefield than the welcoming green space we desired. Harmful chemicals were not an option. So we looked for a gardening and design team who could rejuvenate our lawn in an echo-conscious way without breaking the bank.
 We found Contemporary Landscaping and took a chance on them. Not only did they come out and discuss our desires in person, they suggested ways to achieve our zen space. When we struggled to make design choices, they were ready and willing with a variety of ideas and options. In the end, we chose to shrink our current lawn, and replace a portion that was always in shade with a gorgeous moss garden.
 The design team at Contemporary Landscaping helped us buy discount shrubs to create a beautiful border between the moss garden and our new lawn. To stay on budget, their team suggested thatching the old lawn, spreading a garden mix soil over the ground and reseeding. Not only did they do this, they ripped up old stump root systems and leveled the ground for us. It was all done in a day - wow!
 Best of all, they gave me detailed advice on how to make sure the lawn grew in nice and thick, which it has. Although thatching and reseeding is supposed to be a stopgap, I think my yard looks like an entirely brand new lawn. I love it! Family picnics, volleyball matches, and more await.
